Hi my name is Lauren. I have had problems with heavy periods from the age 13. 3 years ago I had a Mirena coil fitted the bleeding stopped but I get heavy cramping and just before last Christmas I had a lump of tissue form in the neck of the vagina and I have some of the symptoms consistent to Endometriosis. My Gp doesn't seem to concerned about it.

Ask your GP for a referral to a gynaecologist, so that it can be investigated further. At least that way you can put your mind at rest.
