Clueless and scared

Hello,

I'm 15yrs old and I have a lump in my top left pelvic region that has been cramping and throbbing as well. I have also felt bloated in general too. And on top of all this my period is late! What could it be?

Are you sexually active?

If you are it would be best to see a doctor.

If you aren't, periods can be irregular sometimes for no reason.

Have you had the flu recently? Sometimes the stomach flu can result in bloating and a late period.

Also it could be an ovarian cyst.

Any lumps should be checked out by your doctor though.

Hi there, sorry you are feeling scared, I would be too. It could be many things, so best to get a doctor to see it, you can request a female doctor if you prefer or even a sexual health clinic they are usually very good at looking after young people and I wouldn't think you need to be sexually active to go and see them either. They can do late night and walk-in clinics where you wait without an appt. Best wishes

Don't worry just get to a doctor as soon as you can . I'm sure whatever it is can be sorted one way or another. It does no good sitting and worrying . When you know you can plan from there. I would be the same so I'm not being hypocritical but you do need to see a doctor. Can u access health care where you Are ??? Hugs xx
