I am going to see my gp to see if he can help ease my symptoms.

I have been prescribed naproxen but am yet to take them. What meds do u take? What do you recommend? Gp won't put me on pill as I suffer migraines.

Surely I can get something to help relieve things.

Hi Lilyjacksusie

Sorry to hear you're in pain. Do have a look at the information on our website below about different kinds of treatment for endometriosis. We have a section on pain management and different complimentary therapies too.

Hopefully you find something that works for you.

I take ibuprofen which is an anti inflammatory tablet the same sort of action as naproxen. If you have not taken them then you can't expect your pain to reduce! Try them and see then you can return to your go and honestly be able to say they aren't working. I take mine three times a day and I notice the difference if I don't have them.

I think I need to go and chat with the gp.

You are right regarding surgery. Same with anything really, the longer u leave it the worse it gets. I'm terrified tho :(
