I had my laperoscopy in April 2015 and had a mirena coil fitted during the procedure. I had the coil taken out December 2016 and got pregnant right away. I am currently around 6-7 weeks pregnant. Good luck!! Xxx

I'm no expert, but I can share what I've learned through my own experience.

I had a lap surgery 3 weeks ago to remove 2 large endometriomas, followed by a 90-day zoladex implant to try to address the rest of the endo that had spread all over and thus was impossible to remove (I had stage IV endo, and this will shut my ovaries down for about 3 months). My specialist told me that I have a window of about 18 months after the implant wears off to try to conceive naturally - trying every other day, especially around ovulation. After that I'll be all 'congested' again. But she has asked that I see her if I can't conceive within 6 months of getting my cycles back. She also gave me clomid to take when I get my first cycle after the zoladex runs its course.

I got a second opinion from a fertility specialist in the US, and he recommended trying to conceive naturally for just 3 months before starting IVF. It seems a little soon to me, and I'd like to try naturally longer, hoping for a miracle.

What was your diagnosis? Did they check if your tubes were clear?

If you had surgery in June with no treatment after, that would have been 9 months ago. Are you actively TTC? If so, it's likely time to talk to a specialist. Please get help from a specialist ASAP to have a plan...at the very least, it'll give you much more confidence. I wish I had sought help sooner!

By the way, gorgeous little girl. Her photo put a huge smile on my face :)

Best of luck and hugs xx
