Bowel Endo and cerazette?

Hi ladiei have stage 4 Endo and I am due for surgery in March. My bowel cramps and bowel bleeding has got so bad that I have been put on the pill to help me cope until surgery. Has anyone had experience of cerazette used to control bowel Endo? Did it work to stop the bleeding? Thanks x

I have extensive bowel endo and have been on cerazette for 6 months while I wait for surgery. TBH it's not been great. My periods haven't stopped and I've had spotting in between. I've also had a lot of other miserable side effects with it. My nurse described it as using a sticking plaster to try and fix a broken leg. But it's done what I needed it to do as a short term fix, which is to reduce my pain enough that I can manage it at home and I haven't needed to go to A&E since I've been on it so for that reason I've persisted with it.
