Lap this afternoon feeling the nerves

I have my 2nd lap today to drain my endometriomas and feeling the nerves silly I know as had one before. The surgeon who did my first lap said I will deffo loose my ovary but the bsge specialist who is doing it said he will try his best to keep it so think the nerves are more not knowing what I will wake up without
