Lap 7 weeks after first?

Hi everyone I've been diagnosed with stage 4 endo and have my 2nd lap on 6th jan which is 7 weeks after my first has anyone else had one so soon? I'm a bit panicked as still don't feel 100% from the last one and still on phased return in work?

Hugs, I know how you must be feelings. When I came round after my first lap I was told I am needing further surgery and had to see a bowel consultant and suddenly a letter came through with 2 pills about a sigmoidoscopy only 2 weeks after my lap. I found I couldn't face it though it's a camera not a knife and have deferred till the 20th Jan.

Make sure they know you had your first recently and ask if there is a reason for the close timing? then I guess if they still say it's okay or that they particularly want to and why it's down to how well you feel you can cope as everybody's post op recovery is different. Full internal healing can be around 10-12 weeks apparently, though people often are back to normal life well before that.

Ultimately you know your body best, don't be afraid to ask to reschedule.
