Endo return?

Hi everyone, I had a laparoscopy in September 2014 at 18 years old after suffering from months and months of pain (we all know the symptoms). Obviously it's been a good 2 years now since the op, but over Christmas I've been struggling with this same pain and all the same symptoms. Is it likely that my endo has returned? (Obviously can't get to my GP with it being bank holidays etc). So yeah, does endo come back? Does it ever really "go"? Thanks guys

If you don't mind me asking, did you have IVF due to the endo? It's something I've managed to push to the back of my mind the whole "you may not be able to concieve" etc with being 18 when I got diagnosed, I'm still only 20 and not in any rush to have kids but I'm thinking about it a lot more recently x

Hey Hun I was 25 when I was diagnosed after my first operation. I asked about my fertility alot go the docs and I was always told that I would be fine. However fast forward 4 years to now and I am struggling to concieve. Iv been told that my endometriosis may be the reason but it always may not so I really don't know the reason why I can't fall pregnant. My egg reserve is also low now and IV read that could be because of the operations I have had. I don't want to scare you Hun as so many ladies on here have concieve naturally. My husband and I want to keep trying naturally and will return consider ivf in the future.xx

I really need to go back to my GP anyway to see if it has returned/see about needed another op etc and then I can get all the info, I struggled to take it in the last time with being so young it almost didn't really mean anything to me and I just had the "I'll be fine" attitude without actually knowing much about it. Thank you for your help and I wish you and your husband all the best and hope you do fall pregnant. Thanks again xxx

Thanks hun, I hope it works out to. It's frustrating as we both want a baby and it's been 2 years now and nothing. Had high hopes for ivf and again that didn't work. I am hoping 2017 will be a much brighter year for us xxx
