So I had stretch marks before I had my laparoscopy on 02/11/2016 but they seem to OF gotten worse since, I understand with the gas this is probably expected but the bloating has gone down and the stretch marks are more visible deeper and worse than they were before.
Bio oil just wasn't helping before lap and don't want to put any on until stitches have dissolved and healed just as I don't want anything to get in them.
Has this happened to anyone before and do you have any tips on how to make them fade / disappear for good before I rip my skin off?!?
They're my biggest problem when it comes to self esteem and confidence and I really hate them and the fact they've got worse just makes me even more upset, I'm just under 10 stone which I know I need to lose some weight (as I'm 5"1) but at the moment can't do any intensive workouts due to recovery , before I would always be clean eating and working out and I just can't shift weight easily, and PCOS doesn't help with that.. does any women on here have any suggestions on how to lose weight and make the stretch marks go? Would be much appreciated
Thanks, NJG xx

You could purchase a costizone cream which removes layers of skin. It may be hard to find one over the counter but vagisl sells some.
Unfortunately there isn't anyway to remove them but moisturizing and exfoliating. Only exfoliate twice a week as it can irritate skin. Also this scrub is amazing for shaving
I use:
1/2 cup sea salt (or 1/2 cup sugar)
1/2 cup Epsom salts (or 1/2 cup sugar)
1/2 cup baking soda
1 cup whipped coconut oil (or just coconut oil)
10-15 drops essential oil (or less depending on which one) I like lavender and peppermint, cedarwood and rose smells sensual: aromatherapy.com/most_popul...
Dried flowers such as roses.
Just mix and put in a mason jar and it'll last for a long time if you don't touch it with water. Water will make it mould. However salt can also help prolonge it (I haven't tried sugar)
I didn't have stretch marks on my abdomen prior to surgery, but got them afterwards along with significant abdominal distension that's very uncomfortable (it even limits my breathing) and not gone down after several weeks. I'm going to get checked for causes for this in a few weeks if it's still there. I have to push a little because it's an uncommon problem, but I'll try to be assertive.
As far as treatment fo stretchmarks I think some dermatologist use some kind of lasers ( I had a treatment done on my thighs). If the stretch marks are very deep and wide there might be a surgical option, but that will still leave a scar. There might be more to do with prevention than when they're already there.
As far as losing weight goes, this is what has worked for me; Drinking a lot of zero or close to zero caloric drinks like tea, coffee, juices and sweet drinks with artificial sweetener (very low calories), lemonade with artificial sweetener, water with mint and ice water. Eating a lot of fruits and vegetables without adding oil or sauses. I added artificial sweetener to the berries and banana. One should still limit avocadoes since they are high in calories. Chewing gum and using pastilles/candy with zero or close to zero calories. Drinking a glass before meals and eating the vegetables/fruit before the other foods, then the protein, then the carbs. Boiling, steaming or baking (without added fat) vegetables, meat and fish instead frying or cooking in a pan. Boiling, steaming or baking the chosen carb product (like potatoes, rice, pasta, bread). Choosing meat and fish with low fat content. Other than that I also had a lot of success with counting calories, since it's easier to allow yourself some 'bad' food in that way like cake and chocolate and also healthy, but high in calories food like salmon, nuts, olive oil and avocado. You can also leave out the very low calories food from the counting probably and just count the other food. I had to do it like this because I had an extreme appetite, sugar craving and need to snack. I was on medication that suppresses the feeling of being full. One should always be careful to get sufficient nutrients from one's diet and speak to a doctor about the diet beforehand. This is more of an extreme diet for someone who has serious difficulty losing weight.
Otherwise, if you don't have a problem with excessive appetite and extreme sweet tooth, then I think maybe just focusing on eating leaner things and excercising more might be sufficient.
