10 days post op

10 days post op and I'm still going strong. Still sore/bruised and also still getting tired very quickly. But in myself I'm feeling great and I've honestly not felt this good in so many years I can't remember. Attaching a picture of my bruising.

This is making me look forward to mine next year! I can't wait to feel normal. Did they talk through it much with you afterwards? And did they say anything about fertility as that is my major worry 😢 Xxx

When is yours?

Yes I saw all the surgeons before the surgery and a number of times after the surgery. They explained things a couple of times as obviously your abit out of things the first time. They just came to check on how I was recovering in general which was nice. They'll probably go over things again when I have my 3 month check up. They didn't have the pictures available from my surgery so I'll see them at my follow up. I may even get to see a brief clip of the video they took as I'm rather interested in seeing what was going on, on the inside. They checked my tubes when they did the surgery, said my womb and tubes were good. And obviously had one of my ovarys cut open to clear a chocolate cyst. So I've got 1 and a half ovary now but there in good condition. They tell you your at your most fertile after the surgery up until 6-9 months later. Xxx

I have a consultation In a few weeks so may get an idea of when it will be - I think early next year some time That's good to know, nice to hear they were very thorough and took good care of you! Sounds like they did a lot, I'm hoping I get to see a video of mine too as I'm equally as curious!

Once I have mine I'm planning on staying on the mini pill until I want children, purely to try and prevent any endo growing back and just ending back up at this point! Xxx
