First time post. Recovering now from second op for my endometriosiis first time was years ago. I feel like my bits had been yanked out and shoved back through my belly button. My surgeon and health-care team have been wonderful I have had excellent treatment. I'd like to say that recovery is a very important part of living with endometriosiis give yourself time to rest and heal weeks not days. Although it's not a cure having the op looking after yourself mentally and physically has definitely worked in my favour. Don't ever think your alone in your pain there are many of us living it every day so take comfort we understand if others don't. X

Just wanted to say hi! I'm recovering from my second one too, had it on Thursday and although thankfully the god-awful trapped air pain seems to have subsided, I am still really sore around my tummy. Which isn't a shock really as surgeon said he needed to do a lot of work - 2.5hr op and he said it was really tricky to do.

I'm not sure how easy I should be taking it really, I'm staying at my Mum's at the moment as I'm a single Mum to a 4 year old. Wasn't sure whether to go home today or not - still quite sore though. Just feel bad still being here :(

Hi if your sore you still need to rest each day it should ease that bit more if your not sure it means your not ready I had mine Wednesday mine is easing gradually but it's early days still to rest give yourself at least a week. X
