Hi there,
I have major dizzy spells and GP says it's because of low iron due to heavy bleeding. It's worsened by pain pills as well (not supposed to get up too quickly on those).
If you're significantly worried I would suggest a blood analysis to check if you're anemic, after a transfusion and regular blood draws to maintain my iron levels (plenty of vitamin C to absorb the iron properly) I've not had them as often. Hope that helps a bit. Be well.
Oh yes. In fact this is one of my major symptoms I've had since endo started. Been everywhere and now take stugeron daily which helps a bit. It takes your confidence away as I get scared it will suddenly come on and everything spins. Hope this helps a bit.
Hi. I've had daily dizzy spells for 3 years and constant wooziness. Had my first bgse appt and was finally told its linked to the endo as are all my other numerous symptoms. Only got the info from a bgse consultant as been through gp, ent and neurology with no help or answers. I finally pushed for a referral to bgse in the hope they would have come across it before which they had. It's now on my file as ent etc were saying there's nothing wrong with me, unsaid was it's all in yur head. At least I know as family etc were also thinking it's in my head. Even though I've been saying for years it's linked to the endo. It's not due to lack of iron in my case. Hope this helps.x
