No pain for 4 weeks but now...

Hi everyone,

So I had my laparoscopy 4 weeks ago and despite being in pain upto a few days after I've been feeling as good as new! Probably due to stage 1 I don't really know. But all of a sudden I've just been feeling really tired, unwell and have the stabbing pains back in my tummy and also still bleeding. If I had been in pain throughout I would just think I was still healing but I don't really get what's going on and it doesn't make sense to me. I would really appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this, advice or anything. I'm quite concerned but hopefully for no reason :)

Thank you xo

Sorry your back in pain. I have stage one and after my laparoscopy I was back in pain after two weeks. That was in November last year and have been in pain since. I had the coil fitted nearly two weeks ago and still have the pain. If it's as severe as before go back to the doctors and see what your next steps are

Hi girls, please don't think me rude, was in hospital a while and playing catch up. Thank you so much for giving me the kick up the bum to go to the drs.

Eventhough the Dr's didn't have a clue and was useless! They just sent me away with pain killers and told me the only thing they can think of was my endo was back...

Luckily.. a girl in my Mum's work told her she had the exact same thing after her surgery and what had happened was, I was on my period which I didn't know because I have the implant and I have weird bleeding that caused inflammation in the area they operatered on and becauase I was stressing and upset thinking it was my endo back it caused even more inflammation putting me in agony.

So she said all I needed was an ice pack and pure ibruprofen (no codeine). Worked like a charm. Now I'm good as new again. Unfortunately she said it happens for a few months so to take the ibuprofen a few days before you're due on and all should be fine.

Thanks so much again!! Xo
