Amatriptaline (spelt incorrectly) 10mg

To block nerve receptors receiving pain. Anyone had any success with this ? I have just started this treatment today x x

Hi I've been taking them due to 3 herniated discs in lower spine compromising nerves. Started off with 10mg then after 3 days went up to 20mg.

They have helped. Most days the pain is almost gone. Unfortunately on days like today when it is really bad don't feel much benefit. But then I wonder how bad it would be without the Amitriptyline.

I do also find they help with sleep. I'm now sleeping better than I have done since I was a kid (now 42). They do make you sleepy throughout the day though, but I find this is better than being in severe pain.

Hope you get some relief.
