Upper stomach pain

Hi, does anybody get really high stomach pain ( higher than belly button) that is very tender to touch when on period? My doctor thinks its a gastro problem and not gynae but it only happens when on my period.

Hi whereabouts specifically? And are there particular times of the day when it is worse?

I get higher up pain on the upper right side basically underneath my ribcage and once (only once) it was so bad and tender I went to a and e but they couldn't find any explanation. It's worse in the mornings when my bladder is full and the pain spreads up my chest and when I breathe in it's worse. Do you have anything similar to this?

I'm on the pill now and haven't had pain since starting it, maybe you could try that to regulate it? Xx

It is just below the ribcage and right across tummy. I would say it is worse when bladder is full. It hurts to move and I when it is really bad, I have to hold on to stomach when walking.

I've tried several different pills, mirena coil and had an ablation. I'm 44 so next step in hysterectomy. x

I regularly suffer with high stomach discomfort - kind of a full sensation - hurts when both sitting and lying down. started to wonder if related to organs been stuck an/or in wrong position??
