Endometriosis pcos cancer

I was diognosed 3yrs ago with endo this week diagnosed with pcos also. A waiting another lap both overies are stuck to the womb also bowls affected. My question is although I understand why they don't want to perform a hysterectomy they happy to induce the menopause so what is the difference and everything I read suggests a higher risk of cancer which scares me. What is all your understanding and experience of this thanku all
