I've seen some posts about this. I can say with certainty that mine occur in the first days of my cycle, sitting makes it worse. Has anyone found any answers?

I often have a similar pain. Not quite as severe as a stitch but at about waist height.  It's worse when sitting but tolerable and it generally disappears after 4-5 days. I've never had an explanation for it

I had this prior to my second surgery during which they found I had adhesions and endo on my appendix. So I think it was related to one of those issues, probably the adhesions. It was intermittent and then became more constant which prompted me to get the appendix surgery.

If you do get surgery you must have a proper endo surgeon, they must remove all the endo and you need to suppress your periods for as long as possible afterwards. X
