Help for symptoms

So I've been to see the GP and finally get referred to speak to a specialist about a laparoscopy. Good news! Though the waiting list is very long and my symptoms have been getting worse. My contraceptive pill usually masks most of my pain but it's been getting worse and I've been been feeling nauseous a lot. I've been researching into Endovan lately, has anyone had experience with this? I can't take any time off work and need something to relieve my symptoms. My GP recommended Gaviscon for my nausea but I'm doubtful that will help! Thanks in advance X
