Hi, just wondering, does anybody know if it is normal to have blood in your urine when you have endometrisosis?

Many thanks.

It's very rare but can happen with endometriosis of bladder and is normally something linked to monthly cycle. Hope this is helpful! X

Thanks! It was present when I went for my pre op. They asked me to get another sample dipped at my doctors and I had a water infection, had another sample done after taking anti biotics and just have blood again present. I just want my op now! Xx

Ohh I see. No problem! What did your pre op involve? Ahh.. Are you waiting to have a laparoscopy done then? X

They just asked me loads of questions and I had a urine and blood test done. Yes waiting for a lap! Have you had one? X

Ohh okay. How long has all of this been going on for? :/ no I haven't yet; I wish I had though! In Novwmber shortly after scan which showed a hemmorhagic cyst which was nothing to worry about apparently my dr referred me to gynae straight away requesting lap but got declined in December by the consultant. Instead wanted to trial pill but I've been worse since again xx

I've put a post venting about it all on here if you're curious about full details

Hi. They did the same to me. Denied me having a lap (the first time) even tho my doc requested it. Go bk to ur doc and ask for them to write a letter to consultant requesting u have one and know about the risks and stuff. Xxx

Really? I know I'm not the only one but it's just been so hard.. Did you get one done in the end? Yeah I spoke to my new dr about it recently but she still wants me to try IF I CAN a whole second cycle of pills which I'm just about to start as finishing first packet. These have not been helping yet.. If they will at all. So do you still think I should or wait until I've taken them a bit longer as she says? She said she was going to check if I was put on waiting list for one and if not she would x

Carry on for a month or two more but jst make it very clear that you know the risks and really want it resolved xx

Yeah that's what I'm thinking.. But thank you for the heads up. I will make it really clear next time! When I last spoke to my new dr about pill not working and I feel worse, one of the things she said to me was "how do you feel about this and what do you want to do or happen next?" So I said I just really want the laporoscopy done so I know what it is or how bad so I can hopefully get better. I feel like this new dr was really listening and taking what I said on board for once! Xx

I have this too. I had a urine test six months ago no infection but traces of blood had another last week still traces of blood. I have an 11cm endometrioma on my left ovary which presses on my bladder so don't know whether this would cause the traces of blood.

Yeah last year when I had a flare up I had traces of blood then too. I get most of my pain from my left ovary and my bladder too. Are you having it removed? Have they said anything about the traces of blood? Xx

Yeah having hysterectomy (due to adenomyosis), ovary removal, excision and possible bowel resection a month today. Haven't spoken to surgeon, and I'm hoping this won't stop the op from going ahead. GP doesn't seem concerned at all so fingers crossed.

Awww good luck for your op! Yeah I'm hoping the traces of blood doesn't affect having the op!

Hi,n

I had bleeding in my urine for 2 years, took so many antibiotics and had scans done. Found out I had Endo inside and outside my bladder causing bleeding and irritating. I had it an op to remove the Endo and I was fine for 6 months.

My Endo is back again in my bladder, I am on antibiotics for 3 months non stop.

It's very, very, very painful, I'm told that I could have adhesionS inside my bladder too as well as wrapped around my bowels.

I hope everything goes well for you. Please keep us up to date with your progress. If you need to chat I'm here for you.
