1st laparoscapy...

I found out the day of my laparoscapy today it's on the 16th December .... I haven't received anything regarding pre-opp tests is this normal or should I contact the hospital?

Any tips for recovery in the winter months? I'm constently finding more things to worry about its driving me mad!! On the plus side only 2 more periods to go before I know for sure what is happening down there!!

Hey Sophie.

I've always had my pre-op date before my surgery date. Maybe you should contact the hospital tomorrow to see what's going on. Maybe they have an appointment already made for your pre-op just haven't sent the letter yet!

Unfortunately, I don't. I had one last year in August & it wasn't too bad! The gas pain is the worst. I just slept a lot & kept warm for 2 days! Mine will be in in the really cold winter months this year!

Hopefully someone else can come along with some tips on recovery in the winter months. 😊
