Post lap pain....

I'm probably being a wuss but....

Had my diagnostic lap Tuesday morning - no endo found but cyst on right ovary drained.

How come I feel like someone has battered my backside all over with a 2x4?? Can't see any bruising but feels like I should be.

Is this normal?

If this bruise from removing the cannula 3 days ago is anything to go by, I might just bruise easily I guess.....

Hie Meechb, I recently had a cyst removed and it was difficult to find a vein they ended up placing it in a very sensitive area of my hand only to wake up with a swollen arm. Went GP who said I had an infection of the veins so now I'm on antibiotics. Just have it checked😜😜😜 and good luck

The bruise on my hand isn't causing me any concern and does appear to be behaving like a normal bruise.

Didn't expect to feel bruised where work wasn't done - perhaps just being naive as never had surgery before.

Have appointment with GP on 6th but hopefully be better by then!!

Hi! I think it is normal to feel sore even after a diagnostic lap, do you know what kind of cyst it was they found and drained?

All I know is it was on my right ovary - not told size or type!

All my pain is left sided so very confused at the mo

OK, try and find out as much as you can! If it was an Endometrioma - chocolate cyst then that would mean you likely have Endo somewhere else that was missed!
