Bless you, me too. Last 2 days my lower back and ovary a have been killing me. I take mefenamic acid tablets from doctor along with ginger green tea and hot water bottles. Also as a longer term suggestion, acupuncture and reflexology I believe have helped me. Take care xx
I know ginger is meant to be very good for sickness but that all depends in you like ginger xxx has the gp offered you me fanatic acid or tramexamic acid as these are meant to help with heavy painful periods xxx
All the best xxx
I have not yet had a lap, due to starting a new job early this year. My internal examination was very clear that there was Endo around the cervix and possible around bowel (based on IBS related symptoms).
I have been doing very well managing my symptoms with diet and this seems to minimalise pain to some extent.
This cycle though I have been struggling immensely with hip pain and nausea. I'm used to the nausea but the hip pain I debilitating.
I'm not looking for surgical or medical help at the moment as hoping that we will be able to conceive soon.
I take codeine for period pain and my gynae did trial me with menefamic acid tablets, however, this caused me greater pain than good.. So they only lasted 2 weeks.
I am determined to power on and not let it disturb my work too much as I love what I do! I just feel the doctors/ gynaes dont know much either, when there only answers are "get pregnant" or "early menopause".
Thanks for your support ladies.
