I have a kinda weird question... like when my period is almost over my gums get really puffy? is that normal?

I have noticed this too, sometimes sore, puffy gums and sometimes very inflamed and painful gums/wisdom teeth/jaw..only recently realised it seems to be linked to my cycle.

Yes it can be normal. Its to do with the hormones - oestrogen - floating around. It can also happen during pregnancy. Just remember to keep cleaning the gumline even if they bleed. Just dont use a hard toothbrush or scrub them. PS im a dental nurse. Hope this helps
