Hi,

I have umbilical endo and I suffer with pain in my tummy. Chocolate can cause this, as well as wheat heavy foods (like wheatabix), and even sometimes milkshakes. It doesn't happen all the time when eating these foods. Alcohol is the worst offender for upsetting my tummy and causing pain so I gave up drinking around this time last year. Now I notice how much it affects me if I have only one white wine spritzer.

Mebeverine really helps if you are in pain which the doc perscribed me. I take one if I notice my tummy is in a lot of pain that day. It seems to calm the digestion.

I hope this helps x

Hi hun.

Since my endo got bad a year and a half ago (ive only just been diagnosed 8 weeks ago) I have had so many digestion problems.

I'm not intolerant to food but like the other lady said wheat and chocolate makes me flair up, I can eat 85%dark choc green and blacks organic, but a lot of foods cause me a lot of problem I also can't drink.

I went out for a night about 3 months ago and ended up in hospital, I had only has 3 small glasses of wine and I felt like my whole stomach was burning, i was then violently sick and upset stomach for 24 hrs the nurse in the hospital didn't believe me when I said I had only had 3 small glasses of wine.

But it all fit together after my diagnosis with endo and Adenomyosis.

I know it's crappy hun but it sounds like it may be food that's causing it 😕xx

I hope they do too hun. I had my Laparoscopy 8 weeks ago and since then I have kind of been on the endo diet loosely i have changed all my egg, milk meat to organic and am eating lots of fruit and vegetables and I have seen a slight improvement in the pain, so it's worth trying to stick at I know it's tough though hun xx
