Well good morning ladies, I've just returned from a lovely Easter break with my amazing family and have received the results of my MRI which reads anterior to the neck of the womb is a lesion which is suggestive of a chronic endometrioma. There is scarring around the right ovary which was extending to the wall of the adjacent bowel. also noted was scarring around the left ovary. I have now been referred to stepping hill for surgery but as I went through an abdominal subtotal hysterectomy last march and hysteroscopy and polyp ectomy the April before I'm really angry how could all this go unnoticed, especially with all the pain and suffering I've gone through over the years. Needed that rant, has anyone else experienced anything like this 😠

So sorry to hear that you are suffering. My thought is maybe it all grew in you during the last year, not that they didnt notice that? Endo unit in Stepping Hill suppose to be quite good.

Do you use hormon replacement? In that case endometriosis can also grow back.

hope they will sort you out soon.

Hiya I took hrt for a little while but I was in agony so stopped taking it. I've had problems all my life so don't think it grew last year its just taken a long time to be diagnosed. I was under my local health authority last year but the gynaecologist I'm under now is under a different health authority. Thanks for the reply x
