Post prostap problems.

I had my last prostap injection last August. Then in September I had surgery to remove my right Ovary which had a large cyst on it. I also had some of my Endometriosis removed. The operation was a success and I have had no problems since.

The only thing is that my left Ovary has not kicked back into action yet. I was told to expect my monthlies to start up again within 3 months of the operation. Nothing.

Is this likely to be because I had 14 prostap sr injections in total. Not 6 as stated on the leaflet that was in the box.

Am sending myself a bit crazy thinking about it and my doctor retired last month so I don't know who else to ask.

Hi I only had 7 months of prostap and it took approx 10 months for periods to return properly but 6 months on they seem to have stopped again. However I am 43 so it could well be the peri menopause now with me and I would be delighted to have no more. I think it is likely to be different with everyone and not sure of the impact of having one ovary doing all the work. I did go to my GP to ask for a hormone test to see if I needed HRT which they did ( whilst I had no periods) which showed my hormone levels were fine, maybe this would provide some reasurance?
