I've just found this amazing group and have been reading your posts. It's amazing to find I am not alone in the pain and suffering caused by my... Lady bits... That'll do!
I'm due for a lap in May because of increasing menstrual pain and fertility issues. My consultant and I are pretty sure it's endometriosis but he also found a pelvic mass which needs investigation. I've lost yet another day of work today because the pain confines me to bed. I feel very lonely and pathetic today so it's nice to know you're all there.

Thanks for your message. I will certainly have a look at your posts. The mass was found during a pelvic exam. I was due for an ultrasound today but have postponed as I couldn't have tolerated it today. Too painful even lightly pressing on my abdomen let alone the internal probe. My consultant seems to be good at the moment. He's atleast interested which is more than can be said about my (female) GP!
I have a mass too - if you don't mind sharing I would be interested to know what you learn about it? My ultra sound is in a couple of weeks and I'm pretty nervous x
Hey. I'm trying not to be too worried about things (not my strong point) but I have no choice really. I was supposed to have my ultrasound yesterday but was in to much pain to have anyone near me. I have opted to have it on the same day as my pre assessment for my lap so now I have to wait until April 27th. Let me know how you get on please. I'll share my experiences too xx
Hi Hun. Your right you are not alone in the constant battle and I know what you mean about having time off work. We are all here one another. Take care. Julie xx
