Ring your Gp and demand an explanation, all details should have gone to them, or ring your gyne consultants secretary and ask them,

It's your body not there's and you have every right to ask for an explanation

Good luck, let us no how you get on

Xxx

Thanks for your reply. I have spoken to them and I have also been to the gp they keep sending me for scans ..... Out patient says I need to wait for my doctors appointment in April . I am so depressed

Ask hosp for secretary's number. I have always found outpatients to be unhelpful, if you get through to secretary she will be able to get an explanation for you

I have just left the hospital I went in for my 4th dose of prostap I had a long discussion with out patient nurse and secretary and they both insisted that there is nothing that can be done.

No problem, still annoyed for you that you do not know what is going on. Really unfair that you are in this situation. If you think it will help you can always take your concerns to the CCG. I had to make a complaint once before and got answers pretty quickly nhs.uk/choiceintheNHS/Right...

Have a look at this post by the lovely Lindle. healthunlocked.com/endometr......

Pay particular attention to the bit about Good Medical Practice the GP charter and the associated links and print anything that will be useful to show to your GP to remind them of their duty to you. A GP cannot make you take something without you being part of the decision. Was it explained to you for instance that you should not get pregnant while on prostap and you need to use contraception?

I think writing a letter to demand the results of your tests would work better than phonecalls. They have to respond to a letter and there is an audit trail.

You might also consider changing GP.

I am so sorry to hear about what you have been through and hope you get the answers you need. x

@brownlow thanks for your reply I'm so happy to read all these........ But unfortunately this is my second doctor I had to do a change of hospital because I wasn't properly looked after which resulted in the loss of my baby at 16weeks and the new hospital which was recommended is where i am now . I am thinking of going private because I'm only 28years and I still want to have kids.
