Has anyone had their Pelvic Blood Vessel embolized after suffering with Pelvic Congestion Syndrome (PCS) ?

And if you did, did you get it done on the NHS (if your in the UK)?

Please let me know

I had pelvic vein embolism done on NHS last June. Found that my local hospital could not perform it and there was limited knowledge at GP level. I was diagnosed via laproscopy and searched out a consultant who has the expertise. I then spent 2 years to get in funded at St Georges Hospital, London.

Hi,

is there any chance you could private message me who you saw at St Georges Hospital?

I would be very grateful

I saw Professor Belli (she) who is the head of intervention radiology there. The NHS route to referral I think is via Professor Mayomba, (he) is gynae at at Georges, but you can always telephone and speak to Professor Bellis secretary for more info.

Good luck
