Morning ladies, it was reported on the news this morning that HRT increase the risk of ovarian cancer by 40%

This is very concerning.

Yes I saw it, and it is scare mongering all over again. Only read in a magazine the other day the benefits of hrt and that the doctors had got it wrong in the past, then this. I am on patches, just been to see my gyno and all ok, had been taking testosterone and levels up now. All a worry.

I heard this on the radio too, but they said the increase is 2 in 1000 women, as opposed to 1 in 1000 contracting the disease and only after using HRT for 5 years.
