Excruciating back pain.: Hi all, really... - Endometriosis UK
Excruciating back pain.
Sounds like nerve problems, Endometriosis can certainly affect your sciatic nerve which appears to be whats happening here with your numbness, good job you have had an MRI to rule out anything threatening, hope you wont have to wait long for those results.
Have you tried a wheat bag (microwavable) for the back? I have all sorts of codeine myself but I felt heat really helpful or maybe a TENs machine?
Sorry I cant help more x
Glad it gave you some ideas, have u tried strong anti inflammatorys such as naproxen? My doctor refused to give me diazepam maybe he thought I was trying my luck.with the drugs? Lol! Can you let me know how you get on with it and if.it gives you any relief x
I've tried several anti inflammatory meds one of which was naproxen but didn't help which is why my gp has given me diazepam and tramadol.X
Hi Victoria, just wondering how you are getting on with the Diazepam?? Has it given you any relief? X
Did you get round to trying the TENS machine? Amy's took a little while for her body to get accustomed to it but then it really helped. Also she has a reflexology session for an hour a week which massively helps relieve any symptoms like the one you have explained.
