Thanks dabba76 - yeah the nurse removed it, I honestly thought I was in labour it got that bad I'm pleased I trusted my instinct I new something wasn't right being in that much pain x
Good for you. Only we know our bodies & we have to trust our instincts. I hope having it removed will give you some relief. I'm on my 3rd coil & this 1 just doesn't feel right. It's been 6 months now & just waiting for my referral back to hospital to see what my next step is x
I'm sure when I last saw cons she mentioned a new treatment, something about having the lining of my uterus burnt away but it would be done in an outpatient appt not under GA which after my experience with the biopsies and coil I'm not keen on at all, we'll see what tomorrow brings no doubt I'll need to be ready-referred x
Do you mean endometrial ablation? Also known as mea treatment? My cons said I was too young for it, I'm 37, but I am going to insist on it. I'm sick of taking hormones. X
That's basically what it was (I think) that's why I take the hubby to my appts I never seem to retain info from hospital appts, I'm on 35 but I did tell her that I wanted a hysterectomy you can imagine her reply x
