i had a hip replacment in 2006 i saw my sergin in jan told him the problems i am having and he has done blood tests for metal toxins and scan aparently the hip i have in is metal on metal and there have been failing around 5 years and been recalled scared now like

Thats understandably scary. Its good that you went and reported the problems you were having. I kow hip replacements are very scary things to have done so I know you will be nervous but if they need to replace it again at least you know you got through it before. It may be useful for you to make a list of what your fears are specifically and next time you have an appointment with the surgeon take this list and get him to address these conserns specifically for you. x
