Trouble with weight after hysterectomy

Hi I had full abdominal hysterectomy in September and have tried so hard to lose weight I joined slimming world have followed the diet but the weight just doesn't want to come off ....its getting me down so much ...have also been swimming for the last month .

Hi. Had same problem loosing weight after hysterectomy. Look bloated! Impossible lossing weight after the surgery.

Is it really from the hysterectomy? Ugh, I my Obgyn wants me to have a partial hysterectomy. I am already 30+ pounds from my year on the depo shot, I was hoping to lose the weight, not gain more. I feel fat and icky as it is. I constantly hurt so I can't exactly exercise right now. ( I have suspected adenomyosis and stage 3 endo)

That's one of the reason I had hysterectomy and yes I have never had problem with weight but after op put it on due to not being able to do a lot plus had infection after infection and still on antibiotics for streptococcus group g ...which apparently you can get after open surgery
