Hi! And welcome. Everyone is so helpful on here so ask away with the questions. I hope your appointment goes well tomorrow. In terms of endo and your bowel, from my experience the answer is def yes. I had endo on bowel so had pain from this. But also even before this, I have problems with IBS which is endo related and gets worse at the time of the month. I also got pain when passing stools which felt like a stabbing pain up rectum. Oh the joys....
I'm not sure about your pso and endo diagnoses question. But I'm sure someone will be able to help. I know some ladies on here have both x
Hi Tinkerbellkelly29, I don't know about endo being misdiagnosed as pcos but I do know that endo can affect the bowl and bladder. I have patches of it on my bladder and bowl and for months I thought I was always getting urine infections as when it came to the 2 weeks before my period it would get sore when I went to the toilet and I would need to go all the time. I've also had little spots of blood but nothing serious. The same goes for the bowl because I have a small patch also on my bowl this causes issues like constipation and cramps. Hope you get some results soon!
xx
Hi , i pretty new to the site to , i have found it really helpful , reading peoples posts and also having people reply to me that are suffering from the same thing ! Makes u realise you are not going mad or over reacting ! I was diagnosed with pcos 6 years ago , but they didt diagnose endo until a few months back ! I believe that alot of people suffer with them side my side ! Unfortunately endo does seem to affect the bowel , i often get pain going to the toilet and also get shooting pains which are relived for a while once i hve been ! I believe endo can only be diagnosed with a laparoscopy so make sure u push for this at your appointment ! Good luck and keep us updated x
Everyone on here is very supportive and helpful so ask away. Peer to peer support & info sometimes is far more usual in understanding endo & that gynae says.
I wish you best of luck with your appointment.
