Do we just go for fertility treatment as I had most of the Endometriosis removed 4 weeks ago.... What if it doesn't work!! I so worried how I will feel if it fails!!! Can I cope with any more heartache???

As I said, they should recommend trying naturally for 6 months as some of your endo was removed. I know there are other issues for you too though.
IVF is a mental rollercoaster. I have an IVF miracle from my first round & an IVF miscarriage with my second. The child I already have helped me through the miscarriage & I think it will help you also that you have one already. It softens the blow to be honest. There are so many heartbroken childless couples out there with 6 failed rounds of IVF behind them. We have to count our blessings.
We are about to attempt round 3 so I will let you know how we get on ! X
Sorry that should have read "it will help you cope if your IVF fails that you already have a child".
Obviously fingers crossed for it working first time though! It can do - it did for us! X
Wow I feel so sad for a those that are childless & feel selfish that I would be sad if it doesn't work as you say having one child already is a blessing I'm fully aware of but the heartache must be as bad for anyone surely, I think it would be right to have one go this year but I'm so confused about when's the right time and so many people have so many opinions about the cost etc. Is there anything I can do to prepare myself before going to the first appointment? How do you prepare yourself each time? X x
I know what you mean. A failed IVF cycle is horrendous no matter what the situation. Don't feel guilty for feeling sad !
I did a lot of research before my appointments, I feel as if I know everything about it now ! But physically there is nothing more you an do to prepare yourself apart from being generally healthy as you would be whilst trying to conceive really.
The cost hits hard ! No 2 ways about it.
The mental side Is by far harder than the physical for me. But you just get through it because you have to - be positive is probably the best advice I could give ! My first cycle I truly believed it would work & it did. My second cycle I wasn't as certain. X
Yes I feel so positive about this Ivf / ICSI but I have doubt about when because I don't want rush it, but I feel rushed because of the endo, fertility center said I need a referral from the doctor before they can do any appointments. How do I know who to go to for fertility treatment will it make a difference for price or sucess rate? X x
That's seems strange to me that they have asked for a Drs referral. I thought that was only for NHS treatment & not self funded.
I would look to see what clinics are relatively close to where you live. One of my IVFs (although it was the successful one!) was at a clinic 50 miles from us & it put an added strain on the whole process.
There is a website by the HFEA where you can google success rates & clinics. If you google it you will find it
I used the same clinic both times so far but trying a new one this time !
My second cycle was a frozen cycle but no embryos left in the freezer now so trying somewhere new & closer x
Ah that's brilliant, good luck with it all I have my fingers crossed for you. I have had look on the website you gave me and top of the list is the one we had already been to for sperm samples and want to go privately too!! So feeling hopeful I'm doing the right thing, I guess I feel bad for my daughter because the money we will be spending on this could be for her but at the same time she does not go without so can't see it can make that much of a difference to he life or future. do you have that feeling too!!! X x
I Keep my fingers crossed for you. plz update us.
