Ovulation pain

Hello everyone hope u had a great nye. Just a question..... can anyone tell me wen u have ovulation pain. Dose thar mean u hav ovulated or just abt to. Wen wld b the best time ti try to conceive? Hope that makes sence. I het so confused. Xxx

I get this pain, but only on one side. Not surprising as the painful ovary is 90% covered in endo and there’s an adhesion sticking it to my appendix.

I asked the same question at my fertility clinic and they gave quite a vague answer only saying it indicated ovulation was occurring but weren’t able to say if it meant it had occurred or was about to. From looking at my basal temp chart I think it’s just before.

i think the easiest way to work out for me when I'm ovulating is look at my knickers. TMI alert!!! I've worked out with the use of ovulation sticks that I ovulate when I get a sticky discharge. I tent to get pain all the time but does tend to get worse when the sticky stuff and ovulation happens. Try using the app on your phone " monthly cycle" to keep a note of changes in your body. You may notice, even if u have endo, that there is a pattern in your discharge and pain. usually they say u ovulate about day 14 of your cycle ( day 1 is first day of your period) but obviously totally unhelpful if u bleed a lot of the month! If all else fails, my gyne suggested that u just have sex as much as u can throughout the month. She said at least every other day if possible. Good luck trying x
