They do say that the scars inside can take a long time to recover, so try and take it easy if you can. I had a lap in June, and i was quite lucky that my scars healed up and i felt better after a month. I did have some terrible ovary pain on my right side the other day, to the point where the only way i could stop it was to almost jab my fingers into it whilst leaning over... couldn't move else the pain would be back.

Have you tried taking the normal paracetamol and ibuprofen?

Yer men definitely have it easier! Yer a wheat bag or hot water bottle will definitely help, thats my saviour! If it hasn't gone after taking ibuprofen, you can take paracetamol with it too, they say to alternate them, so 2 hours after taking ibuprofen, try paracetamol. I never usually wait the 2 hours, and take them together, but hopefully you'll be feeling better soon!

Thanks :)

Thank u so much xxx really appreciate yr response. Xxxx

Sorry to hear of your suffering but I have pain with ovulation like that every month infact I am now day 5 of severe pain I usually have this pain for 8 to 10 days and this has been like this for the past 11 and a half years since the birth of my one and only son. The only thing that did stop it was the depo injection but this caused another problem so I had to stop having it.

You are probably still healing inside and scar tissue can cause a problem for some ladies.

If this is a new pain for you then you might find it settles over the coming months as you heal inside for me I have always had ovulation pain but prior to me having my son it would only last 48 hours so I am not sure what happened internally after giving birth to make the pain last so long even a lap couldn't give me the answers I do have mild endo which I know since my last lap in 2010 could of got worse.

I hope you start feeling better soon and if the pain does continue each month do go back and see your GP. X
