Hi there :)

I had my second laparoscopy yesterday. My first came back negative for any sign of endo, but this one needed four incisions, and the burning off of endometriosis. This proves that they can miss things, even if it does come back negative.

Keep you head high, and make sure you discuss any of your concerns/fears with your surgeon/nurses/anasthesiologist. They're there to help. It is nervewracking, but you've made it so far with so much pain. You can do this! If it does come back negative, you need them to answer the question of where you go next. Never let anyone make you feel insignificant, because you know your body. They are just outsiders.

Please let me know how it goes. I wish you a speedy recovery! x

Hey guys I'm just being discharged I've got endo on my left hand side of my womb and its scarred and on my tubes also and I have a cyst to my right ovary now and they have asked to see me in 3 months for a follow up and a scan, in all honesty laparoscopys are not as bad as I thought and I'm feeling ok apart from being sore at my stitches and tired from the anesthetic wearing off but they said that takes 48 hours to go, can't wait to get in my own bed xx
