In the early hours of this morning (3am) I was woken up by excruciating pain in my pelvis - it was difficult to walk and once I was standing, struggled to get back into bed lying down. Sorry for details but I managed to open my bowels which was painful and I was having spurts of intense pain every 2 minutes or so. I went back to bed and the pain subsided and has subsequently been ok through the day. Then it suddenly returned this afternoon (not as bad but still pretty painful) and it's a sharp rather than dull like it normally is. I've also noticed a yellow discharge today but no bleeding. Should I be worried? Thanks in advance

Hello Flowerpot, I'm sorry you are suffering so much and I am no doctor but it could be a burst cyst. If I were you I would phone NHS direct or your doctors and they will be able to advise you on what's best to do. Do not just ignore it and hope it will go away because it sounds like there is some sort of infection there and you need that sorted out so it doest cause any damage.
