Hi, I am on my third month of zoladex injections (3rd one was actually prostap as hospital only used this) and my pain is as bad as it was before I started, particularly around my left hip, lower left back up into my lower left ribs and my leg aches too, I'm back to taking tramadol every night, for the first time last night I had to have a bath to try and ease the pains, do I take it these injections are not working? Do I keep persevering with them? What experiences have others had? It's all I can think of at the moment and I am so tired all the time, by the end of the day I'm exhausted! Stressing that I have no energy to do exercise and I can feel the weight creeping on too. The last time I saw the registrar he is really trying to advise that if I need to have surgery that I should have another laparoscopy and not a hysterectomy as I am too young at 37, but I don't think I can keep going through this every few years? What are your experiences of surgery? I've had one laparoscopy already at Christmas 2012. Just looking for help and advice from fellow sufferers. Thanks x

Struggling with endo pain
Hi sorry to hear its so terrible right now. I've heard you can't be on this drug for long and my experience was they put me on it for 7 months prior to surgery of keyhole radical excision of endo. This seems to have worked a trick!! Hope you have a similar experience x
Hi, I am on prostap and livial and found that the first 2 injections were brilliant, but have now been really suffering with pain. I used to have zoladex which also stopped working. I am 35 and waiting for a hysterectomy in the next few weeks. I know that many people will say that if they don't work that it can't be endo, but from past laps I know that it is endo. Are you on hrt with the injections?
No, I have tablets for my HRT, now have you made the decision to have a hysterectomy, were the doctors ok with this? The last registrar was telling me about the increase risks of heart disease and bone problems in later life which has got me worried but I don't want to have to go through all this in another 18 months time if I opt for a laparoscopy. I'm so fed up. How quickly did they get you through for your hysterectomy, how long have you had to wait? Thanks for replying x
