I have came off dianette and been having really bad sharp pains on my right side, where my endo is worst, cld this be a flare up, or just that the pill masked this pain for me? was on the pill since I was 14 x hope someone can give a little advice xx

Hi, the pill can mask the endo. I was on the pill for 15 years and had no pains, I didn't even know I had endo. My pains started just a couple of months after I stoped the pill and have been getting progressively worst since. I was diagnosed with severe endo in July and the gynae said the pill does masks the effets. Also, this is just my own theory, but I felt that my hormones were all over the place when I stopped the pill and I am sure that makes endo worst x
