Pain from mirena coil and still waiting for lap...

Hi all,

So last time I posted on here I was waiting to see a gynecologist, the appointment was 4 months ago and she decided to put me on the waiting list for a diagnostic laparoscopy. In the meantime I have had a coil fitted which I feel has made my pain a whole lot worse but the doctor has told me this pain will settle.

I asked about having the coil removed but was told the coil works well for endometriosis sufferers. I know everybody is different but has anybody else had this problem, does it get better?

I had my pre op assessment 2 months ago and I still haven't heard anything about a date for my surgery, I've no idea how long the process takes and would really appreciate hearing other peoples experiences as I'm in pain and feeling very frustrated,

Hi I also have the coil. I've that it since 1213. And I've been told the same about it works with endometriosis. But I'm also in pain and bleeding 2
