Mirena Coil

Has anyone experienced brown bleeding/discharge with mirena, swollen tender breasts and sporadic severe pains? Before I had the mirena I was on the pill and my period pains were a constant ache but this is very severe?.. Just worried if this doesn't work I'll have to have the injections. Thanks any info will be appreciated x

Hi Olivia21,

this is just a quicky as I'm off out, but just to reassure you, yes, all of the above.

I'm on my 4th Mirena now and I've had all of this, don't ket it worry you, but do keep a note of things so you can figure out if it's realated to periods, although you might not have them now, (I haven't had a proper period for years but still get all the associated pain etc). Sorry if that sounds patronising, it's not meant to be!

Sorry it's so short, but I just wanted to reassure you it's normal.....well...normal for us anyway!!
