Tummy feeling hard : Hi everyone, lower... - Endometriosis UK
Tummy feeling hard
YEs cetainly can be an ovarian cyst. 1st step is visit the GP, if they think it is a cyst then you will be referred to hosp for an ultrasound on it to confirm if it is a cyst, the size of it and possible the contents of the cyst as there are a few different types of ovarian cyst.
It may or may not be an endometrioma.
Depending on the size and contents you may just be monitered -cysts can come and go, cysts can pop or slow leak too, but if they show signs of ever expanding and become large enough to warrant surgery which is 3.5 cm or 5cm minimum depending on the cysts, the surgeon may decide to do something about getting rid of it.
Doesn't stop new cysts forming in the furture though. Speak to your GP as the 1st step.

Thank you, i have been seeing a gynaecologist and I have an appointment in two weeks so I will tell her then although I don't know if she will do anything as I have said I am experiencing these symptoms numerous times and she has just repeated herself so I'm beginning to feel rather fed up x
