Can I ask if anyone thinks/finds stress a trigger for worsening symptoms?

Yep. Stress definitely makes all my symptoms much worse than usual, especially my pain. I'm still looking fir ways to help lower my stress levels. It's terribly difficult.....

Oh yes! I tense up when stressed (not always realizing it either), and it makes my spots hurt more.

I think my pain is a lot worse when stressed so yes symptoms can worsen, its hard to not stress when so many people don't understand what endometriosis is and how it really effects us even some gynea's don't really understand all the different symptoms range of age it effects well mine said back pain amd bowel problems aren't symptoms of endometriosis so going for my diagnostic lap 15th September worries me that she won't find anything :( hope you are okay Lvb85 hugs xxx

Stress definitely makes it worse for me. I try and do relaxation/meditation, swimming, yoga, Dead Sea aromatherapy baths, anything to relax muscles. My pain is always worse when stressed. If abdomen muscles are tense it makes sense to me that it will aggravate Endo pain. Massage is useful and I've recently started taking a magnesium supplement which helps with relaxing muscles.

I find that stress is the main trigger for terrible stages of my endo. I got told its all about hormones, they gave this massive explaination which i really cannot remember. But it made sense. No idea if that's any help, sorry!
