I am 17 and was diagnosed with Endo a few weeks ago and have had about 8 weeks in and out of hospital with extreme pain and vomiting. I wondered if anyone else finds they suffer worse in the late afternoon/evening time or why this is? Xx

I had Accupuncture and mentioned this and she said it was a combination of daytime being active and not noticing the pain so much and also stagnation of blood in the evenings. Also she said sometimes we eat larger meals in the evening then sit down and that can create pressure in the stomach and pelvic area?
I’m accepted that explanation as otherwise I haven’t a clue!
For some reason exercise triggers my symptoms. I have the s type of endo that means my legs are affected as are my feet. I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, avoid alcohol and soft drinks but have plenty of water too.
That’s great thanks! I find I suffer really badly after exercise even as small as a walk! Where abouts is your Endo what stage etc if you don’t mind me asking?
I have pelvic pain, lower back pain, and warm tingly pain all over my legs and in my feet too. I also have bad constipation. I have not been told what stage yet however. Like many other sufferers, my endo lesions are spread out all over the body.
I’m the same what you’re describing sounds really similar to how I feel, and I have lesions everywhere but I don’t know what stage yet, I hope you find a solution or something to manage the symptoms
Nerve pain can also be worse in the evening/at night - I often find my pain gets worse in the evening too. Unfortunately in addition to the direct damage endo does, it can also make our nerves hypersensitive. Light walking sometimes helps me and also gentle backbends - there are also some osteopathic nerve distraction and pelvic alignment treatments that I’ve found help manage my pain. I use menthol/camphor patches, a heating pad (if it isn’t too hot out), or topical capsaicin, all of which can help reset the nerves.
