I gave all the symptoms of fibroids, endo or adenymosis and am having an ultrasound next week. But this monthly, my pain levels were so much less. I am 52, but now wonder us it possible to ever have a respite month and have any of the above.

Could it all be a mistake
Hi I had the same a few months back a whole month where I felt normal then it came back full force. I hope that's not the case for you I hop u are fine. Good luck xxxz
Pain you feel depends to some extent on luck... it can mean you have enough blood clotting factors that month so you don't bleed as much - also that if you do bleed the blood is not landing on anything that isn't cushioned so the nerves are not irritated to send pain signals. Pain levels can drop as a result of changes in hormones, or alterations to the diet which can affect hormone levels too.
Having other illness can mess with your cycle too. The amount of pain you experience depends on so many factors - and while for the most part we do tend to have a monthly routine we expect to pretty much experience each month - there will always be occasions where things don't go to plan.
I'm sure you had some periods that were not on time for no apparent reason, arriving early or late, some would be heavier than others - some would last longer than others, some would be more painful than others, some would be more crampy than others. These are blips and you should take as normal, your average experience lately.
We can only thank our lucky stars when we do get respite, but don't get complacent. It may just be a rare happy period once in a blue moon type of event. Better to get yourself checked out rather than chance it that this is the new 'normal'. It might be, but it is on balance unlikely to remain that way. Unfortunately.
Though looking at it another way - it does let you know that life could be a whole heap better if whatever is the problem, is diagnosed and treated. So you don't have to put up with the bad days for the forseeable future.
Best of luck for the scan. Even if it doesn't spot endo- it will provide a lot of answers regards other possible issues so they can be ruled in or out.
