Just as I thought that I was pain free, its come back with a vengeance since I've had the mirena fitted in march. Due to excessive bleeding the gp thinks the endometriosis could be back which means more ultrasounds and blood tests and more tramadol. Any tips on how to ease the pain while at work for the Time being please?

i had the mirena fitted in april . and I have had an infection , then a cyst plus infection and now I have thrush . I have had a total of one week with no bleeding/ spotting . my pain is properly worse than when I was having my periods . they gave me tramadol put they made we ill so stopped them . the only thing that helped me was some pain killers they gave me on holiday but you cant get them over hear . so would love to know if their is anything else I can take getting so feed up I want it out . might start going back for acupuncture .
I had the Mirena coil fitted a couple of years ago to ease endometiosis symptoms. I had 6 months of constant bleeding and pain worse than labour pains. I had it taken out - I thought what's the point leaving it in if it's not improving things?
Hi Stephiex think I may have the same problem, but too scared too go back to Dr. Had been pain free for 8 years as I was taking the pill for 7 years with no breaks hence no period, no pain. However this was considered unhealthy. Had the marina coil fitted at GP surgery in November, the pain was excruciating and an infection followed after a few weeks of still feeling uncomfortable I plucked up the courage to visit the Dr again, but was told to give it time and pain should improve. It has as such. Not bleeding but feels like I am having cycles if that makes any sense. Now sure endo is coming back.
So you have all had problems with the mirena? Luckily I've got my ultrasound tomorrow so see what's going on.
