Constant backache :(: Hey ladies I wake up... - Endometriosis UK
Constant backache :(
I've been suffering from this too. I'm assuming it's caused by the endometrioma I'm waiting to have removed as I didn't have it before. I'm ok when I get up but as soon as I've been stood up a while it really hurts.
I'm fine all night until morning then as soon as I start moving it's constant nagging back ache when moving what pain relief do you use xxx
I'm just taking paracetamol at the moment. Trying to avoid ibuprofen because of what I've been reading about leaky gut. Trying to build my immune system up as much as possible before my op. I like a hot bath to soothe it too and a hot water bottle but it's getting a bit too hot for that now! I haven't tried a tens machine again after throwing it across the room when I was in labour! I know some ladies use one to good effect so could be worth a try.
Yep, I get this too along with pains in my hips. I usually take paracetamol and ibuprofen, and when it's really bad I take codydramol x
I find a tens machine amazing for my back pain.

I have it too. I can't sleep from it. It's so annoying. Ended up taking naproxen constantly for it, which I'm not too happy about. It has helped with sleeping as it's eased it then, but I am finding during the day if I stand to prepare food or something like that, it's hurting me again. It's at its worst when I bend forward slightly or sit down or lie down but it seems as if the standing exacerbates it.
I have this as well as pain in my hips, every day when I wake up. My doctor's had me on co-codamol for it since December, however it doesn't seem to help. My pain is made worse by the fact that my job requires me to stand for hours at a time. I am also getting slightly worried about becoming addicted to the codeine.
